10101 - Olive oil & Laurel oil

         The soap bars are made from olive oil with the addition of Laurel oil (bay leaf extract). Laurel oil is the natural antiseptic used from the ancient times. The soaps contain no unnecessary additives or animal fats.
Note : This soap is antiseptic. Unlike other soaps in this site which can be used frequenly, it is advisable to use this soap alternate days only. Suitable for eczema and problem skin.

Honey is a mild antiseptic. Honey also contains antioxidants and flavonoids that may function as antibacterial agents. Honey is also a great natural moisturizer for dry and parched skin. A humectant, it is able to attract and retain moisture, and rebuild the moisture level in the skin without making it oily.          Musk that is used in this soap is of plant origin. The plant sources include musk flower (Mimulus moschatus), the muskwood (Olearia argophylla) of the Guianas and West Indies, and the seeds of Abelmoschus moschatus (musk seeds). Ambergris is a fixative in perfumery. The scent is a sweet, earthy, marine, and animalic.
         Sandalwood is perfect for skin care is a popular herbal antiseptic for treating minor skin abrasions. It helps heal cuts, scrapes and burns. It helps shrink pimples, calms acne, calms itch due to bug bites and irritated skin. Dry skin becomes smooth with sandalwood oil. Sandalwood oil can be used as a moisturizer on the face and body. It also helps fade suntan, and evenly toned skin

Lavender has an aroma that gives the feeling of a clean aroma. Lavender essential oil has a calming scent which makes it an excellent tonic for the nerves. Therefore, it helps in treating migraines, headaches, anxiety, depression, nervous tension and emotional stress. The refreshing aroma removes nervous exhaustion and restlessness and increases mental activity.
Lavender essential oil induces sleep and hence it is often recommended for insomnia. The health benefits of lavender oil for the skin can be attributed to its antiseptic and antifungal properties. It is used to treat various skin disorders such as acne, wrinkles, psoriasis, and other inflammations. It heals wounds, cuts, burns, and sunburns rapidly as it aids in the formation of scar tissues. Lavender essential oil is useful for the hair as it can be very effective on lice and lice eggs or nits.
Rosemary essential oil is a rich source of vitamin E; a potent antioxidant confirmed the skin-protective benefits it possesses. It helps heal and prevent age-related skin damage such as wrinkles. It reduces damage caused by stress, free radicals and other toxins on the skin.
Note: pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid using lavender essential oil. It is also recommended that diabetics stay away from lavender oil. It may also cause allergic reactions to people having sensitive skin. Some people may also witness nausea, vomiting and headaches due to usage of lavender oil.

Rose essential oil is suitable for all skin types, but it is especially valuable for dry, sensitive or aging skins. It has a tonic and astringent effect on the capillaries just below the skin surface, which makes it useful in diminishing the redness caused by enlarged capillaries. It is very soothing to irritated skin. It is also a tonic and antiseptic.
The aroma of jasmine oil has a pleasing, uplifting effect on mind and fights depression. This makes you feel happy and awakens romantic and poetic feelings in you. Jasmine has very effective germicidal, bactericidal, fungicidal and antiviral properties. It is good for skin and keeps it smooth and free from cracks. It helps fade away those scar marks and after spots. It can also help against those fat cracks.
